Our open call for scores is inspired by the life work of Soghomon Soghomonian, commonly known as Komitas, who collected and transcribed over 3,000 pieces of Armenian folk music.

With the help of composers around the world, we hope to build a database of West-Asian folk songs for viola duo.
Submissions should be 1 - 7 minutes in length per song and should capture the essence of a traditional West-Asian or Southwest-Asian tune.
Multiple songs are accepted.
